I filed for child support against my ex husband about 3 weeks ago, and i received a letter a couple of days ago stating that my case was now open, they had all the information they needed for now and to give them 30 days to call back to check on the status of the case. (he hasn't got in touch with us so i dont know if he has gotten it or not). CSE has ALL his information and DMV info too.. What are the chances he already received the child support notice? just the letter (i know i wont be getting any payments anytime soon). . Thank you for all your answers!.

Complex:. . At this point, any deferment in your loans is a matter of an accommodation from your lender, rather than a right that's owed to you through the terms of the lending agreement. Your lender can agree to allow you a second economic hardship deferment, or they just as easily could choose not to. The fact that you are "planning" to start school in "a couple of months" is not going to be the deciding factor.. . Look at it from the lender's perspective - they have every willingness to give you an in-school deferment when you go back, but your plan to return is not really a justification for a second deferment.. . If you continue to qualify for the economic hardship deferment (which I assume was the nature of your present deferment), you can apply to your lender for another year. You'll have to complete the same application form that you submitted the first time, and you'll have to submit documentation that indicates that you are still not earning enough to be able to afford your payments.

what forms do we need?

My partner and I are in the middle of applying for a mortgage, so we both decided to view our credit reports on line. I was totally shocked to discover a big fat 8 on my report from a company called Cabot Financial. They filed the default in Feb of this year. I contacted them and they said they were acting for Barclay Card. I had a card with them 5 years ago, and as far as I was aware I paid everything off and destroyed the card, if I owed them anything it was under ?100. Ive since moved house twice since then. Yet on my report Cabot are stating Im ?1400 in default. . Barclay card state they no longer have records on my account as it was passed on. Im aware there is a template of a letter to send to them asking to see my original credit agreement, does anyone know how I can go about this? . Can I insist this is taken off my credit report? . Who do I dispute the default with? . And how long will this take?. Ive been so careful with my money and bills this last five years and to see this is a complete kick in the teeth. Especially now I need to apply for a mortgage... Any advice woulf be great thank you..

I'm completely braindead today. Any help, I'll give you 10 points. As in now! Thanks..
