• Drew Talbot graduated from LSU Law School in May 2007 in the top 25% of his class. During his time in law school, Drew clerked for Robert Rainer working on the sales and use tax cases that dominate his practice. Immediately upon graduation, Drew began working full time for Mr. Rainer as an associate, and has been with him ever since. Drew's practice area is state and local sales and use tax law. During his time with Mr. Rainer, Drew has been made a named partner in the firm, and the firm's representation of local clients (i.e. parishes) has expanded in number. The firm litigates a significant number of cases. However, many of these involve legal issues (as opposed to factual disputes). Therefore, a large portion of the firm's practice involves writing briefs, trying cases and presenting oral arguments in appellate courts and the Louisiana Supreme Court.

I just want an extremely simple format or template. I want you to tell me the general topic of each paragraph and some details, like a graphic orginizer. My audience is my father and it is a very small business i am proposing so it doesnt have to be big and complex and fancy. thanx. i want to start an airbrush tattoo business on the beach in like a tent and i would like him to invest in the equipment. something like. Pararaph 1. Topic. details.

Here's an outline/template that you can follow........ . "Dear [..........],. . RE: Position of [................]. . Please find enclosed a copy of my resume [or CV] which I am submitting for consideration for the above mentioned position.. . I am a [male/female], [xx] years of age. I completed my education in [year] and was awarded a [type of degree, eg, BA] from the [name of university/school] [with honors, if applicable].. . As you will note on my CV*, I have in-depth knowledge of the clothing market given my [xx] years experience with [name of firm]. Combined with my strong communications skills and my proven ability to motivate [or, in sales, etc.], I believe I would be an assett to your company.. . Please let me know if I can provide you with any further information. I hope I may look forward to an early response.". . * If you have no clothing industry experience, you'll want to say something like..."Although I have no direct experience in the clothing industry my background in [sales, as a manufacturer's agent, etc], coupled with ...[see above for ideas]". If you have no job experience at all, describe your character assets: "I am a highly motivated, self-starter who relishes responsibility...." and anything else you can bring to the party that may be considered a positive: "Having lived all my life in the [..........] area, I am very familiar with it and its environs.". .
