  • A sense of justice and equity was instilled in me at an early age as principals that must guide our lives. I was taught that these were not abstract thoughts or things to merely wish for but rather the reason to equip myself to be an advocate in the arena where these principles are determined.

My father, J. Minos Simon, was a trial lawyer for 57 years. He taught me that, as an advocate, the rights of every person, small or large, were more important than the size or stature of those who would oppose those rights.

As a practicing attorney, I am acutely aware that I am, first and foremost, an advocate for the rights and needs of my clients. This awareness makes every case important to me, large or small, and is the guiding principal of my practice.

I know it doesn't exist today but was just wondering why it was formed and who by. And also, why do people still think it exists today? Surely the concept of a group of people controlling the media and other things is ridiculous .... . Please can you a detailed answer as it seems very interesting.

Purchasing a car through a private party with a power of attorney?

How can I stop effectively? I've never had any treatments or received any professional help before. Do I really need a professional to help me through? Is it a necessity?. . Also, I'm not legally an adult yet. Would they notify my parents if I really go for psychiatric/counselor visitations?.

I need a place with SSL to host my PayPal graphic. Does anyone know of any that do it for FREE?.

At Thanksgiving my dad who is 85, was in conversation with a few of us. We were talking about Thanksgiving pasts and how at various times over the years a time or two either he or mom was sick for the holidays. He then said, "Wasn't she sick last year?" My mom has been gone since 1999. My niece, sister in law and I looked at each other. I live many miles from him so I don't know if he is confused more than this. Let's just say my brothers are not all that interested in dad's daily life, so they can't help to determine how often this is going on. When we talk on the phone he seems fine. I feel I should notify his doctor, but should I call his general practitioner or his heart doctor whom he sees on a yearly basis? I don't want to pass it off as just forgetting. You don't just forget the year your wife passes away. His health is generally good. He does have diabetes but he has been keeping it under control. Thanks for any suggestions.. His A1C was last tested in Sept. How often are those to be checked?. one brother lives in same town, the other about 15 mi away. I'm over 150 away from him, so it's difficult for me to be there, especially since they have me doing therapy now..
