  • Balance + Perspective + Experience

Commander+Pound, LLP, offers high quality legal expertise representing plaintiffs in the areas of personal injury,?brain injury, wrongful death, products liability and representing defendants in?medical malpractice.? Our principals, Scott Commander and Ted Pound, have been on both sides of numerous personal injury and?wrongful death lawsuits and have tried dozens of significant cases in state and federal courts across Georgia .? We also maintain an active practice in medical malpractice defense litigating?on behalf of physicians, hospitals and other medical staff.??

We provide all our clients a balanced, objective perspective on their litigation; a determined commitment to thorough preparation; a reputation built on many years of experience and results in the courtroom; and proven expertise in the legal, medical and technical issues posed by difficult cases.?

    Personal Attention + Concern

We?emphasize responsiveness, courtesy and communication to our clients and other counsel.??Our objective is to establish and maintain a reputation of integrity, diligence and success.? We?recognize that litigation can be a time consuming and frustrating experience for?our clients.? We?strive to educate and inform our?clients as their case moves forward.

The ultimate decision whether to resolve a case or take it to trial rests with the client.??We counsel clients on this decision based on their collective experience, specific facts which have developed during the litigation, as well? as a thorough review of comparable verdicts in the jurisdiction.

Plaintiff's Personal Injury + Medical Malpractice Defense ?

There are few law firms that represent both plaintiffs and defendants in civil litigation. We believe that this balance in our practice is both an asset to the individuals and families whose claims we prosecute and an advantage to the physicians and their insurers whose cases we defend.

In Personal Injury ? cases we represent individuals and families who have been?injured or killed by the negligence of others in automobile crashes, trucking and tractor-trailer collisions, construction accidents, or due to the failure of property owners to keep their premises safe for visitors and invitees. We have obtained judgments in both Federal and State courts amounting to millions of dollars.??We pursue cases for the maximum result obtainable in the circumstances.

Our objective is to fully investigate and establish the facts.? Clients are kept apprised of the results of the investigation and are usually key players in the investigation.??Depending upon the nature of the case, a decision is made with the client whether to attempt a pre-litigation resolution or simply file suit.??

In Medical Malpractice cases we represent physicians, physician groups, hospitals and other medical personnel. The nature of this litigation requires a commitment to one side or the other, and we do not represent plaintiffs in these cases. We do not sue doctors.

We thoroughly investigate and defend medical malpractice cases and are proud of the results we have obtained for our?clients in difficult cases, whether by jury verdict or the tough negotiation of appropriate settlements, frequently through mediation or arbitration.

    Accessible + Flexible + Compassionate

As an experienced?law firm engaged in a sophisticated practice, we take pride in our accessibility to clients, our ability to offer flexible arrangements for representation, and the personal, compassionate relationships we establish with our clients? often under circumstances that place individuals and their families under tremendous stress.

I am pulling together my very first fashion show. I have my designers, models, music, etc all planned out. I thought I was in the clear until the other day one of my models, who has done this before, asked about model release forms. Apparently in other shows she has partaken in, she was made to sign release forms in case of an accident(like falling off the stage), photography purposes, and, if the designer allowed them to keep the designs, a form for no resale/rights to the outfit.

Thank You.

are there any regulations to what it is aloud to be. if im under 18 and have parental consent is that okay?.

Dear mom and dad,. . I was just writing to talk to you about getting spectacles, I know you don't really seem to think I need them all that much, but it's actually to the point where I'm having trouble reading and writing because I'm having trouble seeing the letters due to my poor vision. My grade point average has actually lowered a bit this semester and I'm really worried that's it's going to go even lower, I can't concentrate properly in class because my poor vision is giving me headaches. Please consider getting me some, I would really appreciate it. . Love,. . (Your name)
