• Hi, my name is Sarah Yeomans. I graduated from American University in 2003 with a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies and a minor in Spanish. In 2001, I studied at Universidad de Belgrano in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I earned my Juris Doctor from Georgetown University Law Center in 2007. During law school I worked for the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees in Costa Rica, helping to resettle eligible refugees and researching the issue of refugee "women-at-risk" in Costa Rica. I also worked at the international law firm of Baker & McKenzie where I handled pro bono matters relating to Asylum and VAWA claims. In March 2006, I was part of a student-led fact finding mission to Ecuador in effort to lift the material support bar to refugee resettlement in the United States. Our findings were published in a refugee law casebook and in the Georgetown Journal of International Law as Unintended Consequences: Refugee Victims of the War on Terror, 37 GEO. J. INT’L L. 759 (2006). At Georgetown, I served as Executive Editor of the Georgetown Journal of International Law. In 2007, I joined the law firm of Sharretts Paley Carter & Blauvelt, handling international trade antidumping litigation, tariff classification protests and customs compliance matters. In 2009 I became involved in complex litigation matters including Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, Government Contracts, and Hart-Scott-Rodino as an independent contractor. I had the pleasure of joining the Law Office of Manuel Rivera Esq. & Associates in September 2012. I provide legal services in English and Spanish. You also do not have a way to export your data if you are unhappy with their service so once you get started, you will have to re-start from scratch if your business model changes or if you are unhappy with their customer service, etc.. . The bottom line of it was: Cardinal Law acted like a business manager, or a lawyer, or someone else whose primary goal was nothing but damage control.. . He didn't act like an apostle.
