    Workers' Compensation and Insurance Defense

The law firm of Walsh and Hacker was founded in 1967 in Albany, New York, by Thomas J. Walsh to serve the needs of employers and insurance carriers in matters related to:

Workers' compensation defenseThird party liability defenseLongshore & Harbor Workers’ Compensation Act (LHWCA) defense

Entering our fifth decade of service, we have stayed the course, providing clients with the stability and continuity of care, the hallmarks of service for which we enjoy such renown. Walsh and Hacker provides risk management counsel and aggressive workers compensation defense to employers, municipalities and their insurance carriers or third-party administrators. We serve clients from the top of New York to the Hudson Valley, and we often venture into other areas of the state as we are consulted for our sophisticated knowledge and impressive results in "workers' comp" law.

    Growth & Development

Due to our client-centered approach and cost-saving strategies, our firm has grown phenomenally over the years. We now employ 11 full-time attorneys as well as a full complement of support staff, to better serve our clients. Walsh and Hacker has served major corporate clients and insurance carriers. You may review a more comprehensive list of representative clients, many of whom have been with our firm for a number of years.

    Achieving Results

While many similar firms experience continual reorganizations and high attorney turnover, Walsh and Hacker has earned a reputation for stability and staff retention. Building on the knowledge that comes through experience, when we represent a client in any workers’ compensation claim or third party claim, we apply all of the skills and resources available to achieve a successful resolution.

When clients need information, they receive a clear and concise response in a timely manner from an attorney who is truly familiar with the case. And while our lawyers are tough and aggressive litigators who are able to defend our clients in both state and federal court, we work just as hard to avoid the unnecessary costs associated with litigation, whenever possible.

Our reputation as skillful negotiators and competent trial counsel provides the client with a true choice of either compromise or trial, always keeping the best interest of the client at the forefront of every decision.

A traditional law firm with modern methods, Walsh and Hacker stands poised to assist clients in meeting the challenges in the 21st Century by employing the methods that have stood the test of time: care, continuity, communication and stability. How to write a letter to a retailer from a wholesaler?

Can you just suggest the project titles on life insurance for MBA Finance?

It is illegal to deliberately serve someone at an incorrect address. This tactic is called a "sewer service" summons delivery. If you can document that you were improperly served, you may be able to get this judgment voided.. . Go to the clerk of the court of the court that granted the judgment. You want copies of all documents in the case against you. You want to examine the 'proof of service' documents to determine who/where service is claimed to have been performed.. . If you are sure that you were not served: Send a letter via certified with return receipt (Not regular mail) to the law office and state: I am requesting official validation of the alleged summons that was served to me, to include: . - The full name of the person who served the summons . - The full name of the person who signed for the summons . - A copy of delivery notice showing the signature. - The exact address that the summons was delivered to - The date and time of delivery.. . Receipt of this letter is being officially time stamped by the USPS. Refusal to validate will be documented.. =================. If you decide to pay them, get all terms of any settlement deal you reach with debt collectors IN WRITING BEFORE you give them your money. This letter should state the settlement amount and that the account will be settled/paid in full upon receipt of this amount from you. Never accept settlement deals over the phone that are not backed up in written terms. If you don?t, the debt collectors will deny that any settlement was ever made once they get your ?settlement? money and will come back demanding more money from you.

A great (and easy way) to go about this is finding a character reference sample for a job application, and slightly "tweak" it :-D. Add a paragraph here and there acknowledging the petty crime, the honor in the person in reflection of his personal betterment by taking the drivers course, and conclude it with the rhetoric of if all those precipitating punishments truly fit the crime committed. Also perhaps suggest (tread lightly here) a fine in replace of the suspension. May be the easiest, quickest, and best bet.
