No one should be signing any form without first reading and understanding it anyway.. There should not be a problem with letting her have a copy to read prior to the shoot. I regularly do this,. . There are however cases where it could be challenged and not upheld in a court. That is different from being legal or not.. . Basically a release form is just an agreement between the photographer and model.. General ones such as those used by Getty and the like are in effect ensuring that there can be no comeback on publishers when an image is published.. Most general ones state that the image can be used anywhere, anytime, for anything.. If the model was not agree to that then exceptions can be put in, just as with any contract or agreement between two parties.. . You say "your" release form. Is this one you have made up yourself or are you using one of the type which can be found on stock sites?. Personally I would use the Getty general adult release rather than anything else.
