  • For 20 years, Paul E. David has practiced law in Central Wisconsin with the same firm he started with in 1990. After graduating from the University of Oregon Law School, Mr. David returned to his home state of Wisconsin and began practicing with his current firm's predecessor, Patterson, Richards & Hessert, a general practice firm located in Wausau, Wisconsin.

As an associate, Mr. David was exposed to a wide variety of practice areas, including insurance defense, family law, estate planning, business transactions, hospital law and personal injury. Over time, Mr. David's practice evolved with his personal interests and preferences to focus primarily on trial practice, most notably, in the area of insurance defense. Mr. David also continues to focus his practice in the areas of commercial litigation, personal injury and collections.

Mr. David's collection practice is provided primarily to health and medical care providers. As a result of this work, Mr. David has more recently developed a growing interest and practice representing individuals against health insurers who have denied health insurance benefits.

From his early involvement with business transactions, Mr. David established several long-standing relationships with commercial contractors for whom he continues to provide contract review, interpretation and consultation. As a result of these relationships, Mr. David has remained active, not only in commercial litigation, but also in representation of insureds on CGL policies.

Insurance defense (including auto, property and casualty, CGL, errors and omissions and officers and directions) has long been the backbone of Mr. David's practice. He has established long-standing relationships with both large and small insurers, always striving to provide effective and competitive legal services within the stated guidelines of the client. His insurance defense work has resulted in numerous jury trials at the Circuit Court level, countless appeals, appearances before the Wisconsin State Supreme Court, United States District Court and before the 7th Circuit Court of Appeals.

In the long-standing tradition of the firm, Mr. David has remained active and involved in legal and community organizations. He is the President-Elect of the Marathon County Bar Association and authors an annually updated publication for the Wisconsin State Bar on the issue of emotional distress claims and damages. He is a past member of the Board of Directors for numerous charitable organizations including Big Brothers/Big Sisters and Resurrection Church. Mr. David remains busy coaching various athletic teams for his three elementary school age children and actively assists his wife in her role as PTO president.

Mr. David takes pride in the long-standing relationship that he has had with his clients and law firm. Mr. David believes that these relationships are testimony to the respect and appreciation he has for those clients that entrust him with the handling of their leagal concerns.

We have to do this lame assignment where y ou have to write a mechanism description of a skateboard. But they want a cover letter.. . Sadly, I have no idea how to write a cover letter for a mechanism description. All I can think of is introducing the skateboard and it's popularity and why anyone would care about it, but this takes up about one paragraph. Any ideas?.

If you meet these requirements, you contact your local county clerk to learn the specific application procedures for the counties you wish to work in.. . Next up is the annual authorization to stay in business. This involves the affidavit, the financial surety, and the power of attorney documents regarding the amounts of bail and the agents that will be involved in the workings of the business.. . To be authorized to arrest a defendant or "bail jumper", the bail bondsman must request a "bondsman's process."

There's nothing wrong with writing the letter yourself if the person has asked you to, just so long as it's a genuine signature at the bottom. Hopefully you can trust your references to send a clean, neat well-written revision of your original - it might be a good deal to supply them with an electronic copy of the letter. The reference would be useless if it didn't look professional.. . Writing a letter of reference is difficult enough, but I think even more so when you have to write about yourself. Be sure to be honest, and try to think from the intended signee's perspective. Try to imagine what they would write if they were writing the letter. If you write something too outrageous, they may shred it in their revision, or refuse to serve as a reference at all.
