  • Real Estate Legal Services: Foreclosure Prevention In Virginia Beach, Virginia

Attorney Charles D. Pittman Jr. has been helping residents and businesses in the City of Virginia Beach and throughout Virginia with their real estate transactions since 1981. From land development to foreclosure prevention via loan modifications, short sales, and other legal tools, Real Estate Legal Services is ready to provide advice and counsel on all types of real estate transactions.

In recent years, The Law Office of Charles D. Pittman, Jr. and Associates, P.C. has helped hundreds of Virginia homeowners avoid foreclosure through renegotiating loans and short sales (the house is sold for less than what is owed on it). Some short sales included million-dollar homes burdened with multiple liens. Real Estate Legal Services may also use deeds in lieu of foreclosure (the borrower signs the deed for the property over to the mortgage holder).

Charles Pittman, Jr. graduated from the University of Virginia with distinction in 1978, received his Juris Doctor from the Marshall Wythe School of Law at The College of William and Mary, and was admitted to the Virginia bar in 1981. As a real estate lawyer, he wants to protect his clients. He understands contract law, title law, bankruptcy law and creditor's rights and he knows how to deal with banks and government agencies. Charlie has served as an adjunct professor at the Regent University School of Law, teaching real estate transactions. Charlie and his team of short sale experts, dubbed the "Department of Distress Relief", frequently conduct seminars and lectures to educate the public and other real estate professionals on the ever-changing laws dealing with foreclosure and foreclosure alternatives.

The law firm is located at 712 Hillingdon Court in Virginia Beach, near interstates 264 and 64, with ample parking, first-floor conference rooms, just five minutes from Town Center. Spanish speaking services are available. The office is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and evening appointments are available upon request. Call 757-467-7600 for an appointment.

If you're facing a mortgage default, the worst thing you can do is nothing.

Default on my credit report?

hello I want to write a complaint letter and want to know the best way to write it. A template would be very much appreciated.. . Because of the volcanic ash problem my flights were cancelled on 2 separate occasions. To rebook my flights I had to phone KLM customers service and was left on hold for hours due to the high call volumes because of this I Have run up call charges of approximately ?40. My complaint is I feel it is unfair that I have been charged for the phone calls to rebook the flights as the reason was no fault of my own,yet I had no choice to phone KLM's 10 pence per minute customer service phone line. Really it should be KLM phoning me to rebook and not the other way round. Ideally I am looking for a refund of the money spent on the phone calls to rebook my flights. . many thanks for any help in advance, sensible answers only please,. i won't be phoning them up again,to be charged another fortune.

Also, the double E's. -Kelcee [This is my name. I do not enjoy my name. I would love to change it, but I would feel bad]. -Kylee. -Kacee. -Carlee.

Does the power of attorney appoint someone to handle their affairs . Should everyone who has responsibilities to others always have this form filled out and should family be clued into who is appointed ? How do we say politely that we need to make sure their affairs are in order without hurting their feelings ?.

i need help in experience letter format?

Only the estate pays "estate taxes", not the inheritor. For a death in 2008, the unified credit exclusion was $2 million. This must be transferred via a will and anything above this may be taxed at up to 45%. Again, only the estate pays Federal estate taxes (which of course, reduces the amount available to the inheritor). Since the state that the estate is in does not collect estate/inheritance tax, you don't have to pay that either.. . For the inheritor, there are two components to the sale of the inherited building--1) the principal value and 2) interest from the balloon. The interest is taxable as ordinary income as and when received and the principal is taxable only to the extent that it exceeds the value at inheritance.
