• Robert P. Doolittle has practiced with the firm since his graduation from the Indiana University School of Law in 1965. He has had extensive experience in business and commercial law and related litigation. Over the first fifteen years, he has devoted a large portion of his professional practice to commercial real estate development and related legal issues.

  He served as a Chapter 7 panel trustee for the United States Bankruptcy Court, Southern District of Indiana, for almost twenty years and in that capacity supervised the administration of hundreds of Chapter 7 cases. In addition, he has represented many debtors and creditors in bankruptcy and workout matters.

  He is a member of the Knox County, Indiana State, and American Bar Associations, and various Sections of those Associations. He has served as Vincennes City Attorney, Deputy Prosecuting Attorney, and Knox County Police Legal Advisor. He is a past president and member of Vincennes Police Civil Service Merit Commission.

  His community activities has included membership on the boards of directors of the Vincennes Community School Building Corporation, Chamber of Commerce, Knox County Development corporation, Knox County Association For Retarded Citizens, Inc., ARC of Indiana, and various other civic clubs and organizations. He is or has been a Indiana University Alumni Association and its Executive Council, Indiana University Varsity Club and was a founder of the Indiana University Alumni Club of Southwest Indiana.

  He and his wife of 39 years are the parents of three daughters and the grandparents of 21/2 grandchildren and 2 chocolate Labs.
