Husband has a terrible last name and I am sick of being ridiculed for it. We have a 4 year old son and a baby on the way and I do not want them to go through life being ridiculed as well. I would really like to change mine and our children's names to my maiden name to avoid any further trama. How exactly do I go about doing this? Oh...and the last name is pronounced dumb a$# when read aloud. i can't even type the last three letters of my husband's last name without getting flagged for vulgar word usage. nice.... so i guess it's clear that my husband would need to take my maiden name as well. thanks for the clarification..
PLEASE HELP with my college topic about gay marriage?
I am taking photos of someone soon, and she's a bit worried and wants a contract drawn up where I can't use her photos for anything unless I have her permission and saying that I can't disclose any information about her identity.. What type of contract is that? And where can I see samples or templates of one on the internet?.
do doctors run the healthcare industry or do lawyers and insurance companies?
actually an advance directive just outlines a patient wishes, it not a legal binding agreement that the doctor must follow
The history behind common last names was often the person?s profession, so a blacksmith named Phil would end up as Phil Smith or a miller named Earl would be dubbed Earl Miller. Then of course there?s the son suffix, so if a guy named John had a son named Fred, the last name might end up being Johnson (John?s son). Last names were also often influenced by common elements: the person's geographical origin, or a descriptive nickname for the person.
