• Reed began developing his expertise in tax while obtaining his Master's Degree in Finance. After graduating in the top 10% of his Law School Class, he entered the L.L.M Program in Taxation at Golden Gate University School of Law. While in the L.L.M. Tax Program, Reed found that he had a particular interest in asset protection and tax minimization strategies. Reed has the unique ability to translate complex tax issues into concepts that have meaning for each client. Because of his financial background, Reed does more than just help clients reduce and minimize taxes. For those clients that are interested in a lifetime plan of wealth management, he will also work with them to develop a plan for wealth accumulation, management, and asset protection.

  Reed graduated with Honors from the University of Kentucky with a degree in Business and Economics. He obtained his Masters of Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from Western Michigan University where he was honored for academic excellence by induction into the Beta Gamma Sigma Honorary Fraternity. After a successful career as an entrepreneur and business executive, Reed graduated with Honors from Golden Gate University School of Law, and has continued to study and teach in advanced areas of tax and asset protection.

how to become a power of attorney?

I really want to do a family tree but don't know where to begin. I asked a question about my Elswick and Wright name. Well I changed my name to Mike Zion in Jan. 06 so the name Zion doesn't have any thing to do with Zionism or anything.

We just recieved a collection notice from a companie we have not done business with in over 3 years (it could be as many as 5). We never heard from them in that whole time until now. I really don't remember owing any money... can they try to collect after all this time? We don't even have the records from that long ago anymore..

The important thing here is that the name on the ticket and the passport match. (If it says John Smith on the ticket, it must also say John Smith on the passport). If not then one of them needs to change and quickly.

My wife's mother needs to give my wife durable power of attorney. We live in San Diego and her mother lives in San Jose. The next time they will see each other is in Las Vegas this week. What is required to make the power of attorney valid? Can it be signed and notarized in Nevada this week and still be valid in California? Does that make it a Nevada POA and does that extend into California? Does it matter? I guess I'm just really confused about the logistics of it and would really appreciate it if anyone knows how we can best get a durable POA out of this. Thank you in advance..
