  • I graduated from The John Marshall Law School in 1994. I began my legal career as an attorney with the Legal Aid Bureau in Chicago assisting low income families with their family law needs. All of my cases at the Legal Aid Bureau involved custody and visitation issues. I received intensive legal and courtroom experience in issues involving the best interest of children, domestic violence and all aspects related to the divorce process.

I have been practicing in Kane County and the surrounding counties of DuPage, Kendall, DeKalb and McHenry counties for almost five years.

Although many of the issues I deal with today are similar to the ones I experienced at the Legal Aid Bureau, I have become well versed in handling cases with complex financial issues. Some of the cases in which I have been involved have included marital estates in excess of five million dollars with complex issues regarding the valuation of closely held corporations, stock options, investment real estate and retirement assets.

Regardless of whether your case is a complex divorce involving disputed issues of custody, visitation and the discovery and valuation of marital assets or a straight forward amicable divorce, I pledge to give you the high degree of service and zealous representation that my clients have come to expect. Your questions will be answered and your phone call will be returned. If for any reason you need to meet with me, you will usually be scheduled an appointment within twenty-four hours. This is my promise to you. Please feel free to call or email me regarding your family law questions or to schedule an appointment.

My office is conveniently located near the Charlestown Mall near Kirk Road and Route 64. I offer evening and weekend appointments and my initial consultation is free of charge.

Questions about the correct format of a Personal Business Letter?

Usually you have to be 18 or have parental permission. You just need to got to your local courthouse and ask for a name change form. Fill it out and they'll file the paperwork. You usually have to explain why you want your name changed, so the judge can approve the circumstances. I've never heard of the judge disapproving a name change, so I wouldn't worry. I think the fees are more like $25-50 rather than $100 like the first poster commented. You'll get your documents in the mail about 2-3 weeks later and your name will be changed on official records at the courthouse.

it's not 100% clear to me what the guy said to you. But that would be my guess. On the other hand, if they took the time to contact you to ask for an appeal, they are clearly open to the possibility of admitting you. The guy may not have sounded happy, but he was doing you a favor.. . You need to contact the office the guy was from to make sure you know exactly what it is that you're supposed to be arguing for, when they need the letter, and to whom it should be addressed.. . For example, maybe you are supposed to be writing a letter to Dr. Janosevic in the admissions office and your argument is supposed to be that you should be admitted despite your low TOEFL score because you will be taking an ESL class as soon as you get to campus. You might begin like. . -----. . Dear Dr. Janosevic,. . I'm writing to appeal the decision not to accept me because my TOEFL score is low. I think I can succeed at Random College despite my problems with English.

Also, you can sent photocopies of the death certificate. You do not need to send those expensive certified copies.
