You will have to get an attorney for the paperwork. Your ex-husband will probably have to approve of the situation for your daughter. This is really no different than someone in the military being sent on their overseas duty. Do people think that people who have to go overseas for the military and leave their family at home are abandoning them? Doubt it. The military is a job also, I am a veteran of the US Army.
