• H. Curtis Skipper is a fifth generation Floridian and native of Jacksonville. He graduated from Andrew Jackson High School, then attended Lake City Community College. After receiving is Associates of Arts degree, Curtis became a banker. It is at a bank in Jacksonville that he met his wife, Sallie. Later, after he and Sallie were married, Curtis enrolled in (now) Central Florida University in Orlando, where he majored in Political Science. After graduating with high honors, Curtis attended Stetson University College of Law.

  Curtis graduated from Stetson College of Law in 1976, and moved to Pasco County the next year.

  Curtis is an avid swimmer and collector of fire arms. He loves exotic automobiles, particularly Porsche convertibles, travel, and Holidays with his family. Curtis and Sallie have three children.
