  • I have been practicing law since 1986. The first case I handled was a worker's compensation case. I have spent the last 27 years representing injured and disabled clients in cases involving worker's compensation, personal injury, social security disability, wrongful death, sexual harassment, race and age discrimination, excessive force by law enforcement and lawsuits involving insurance companies.

I am one of 68 lawyers in North Carolina who has been certified by the North Carolina State Bar as a Specialist in Workers Compensation Law.

I formed a new law firm in January 2005 to continue practicing law in these areas. We will use our experience with medical issues and the medical community and our history of negotiations and trials with the insurance industry to benefit you in your injury case.

In addition to appearing in the trial courts of North Carolina, I have also appeared in numerous cases before United States District Court, the North Carolina Industrial Commission, the North Carolina Court of Appeals, the North Carolina Supreme Court and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit.

Everyone Please Give Your Opinion! I just received a Home Business magazine in the mail!?

Im 16 and applied to be a service clerk. Do I just put the name of the person and their number? And how do I set up the letter. Can I just write it on plain paper? Need help.

. ? the contact telephone number of the person writing the reference should be included in the letter

A covering letter simply covers details that aren't on your cv, such as the reason why you are sending the cv in the first place.. Dear Mr Smith,. I would like to apply for the position of ......... as recently advertised and have therefore enclosed my cv. . If you require any further information please do not hesitate to contact me.. Thank you for considering my application.. Yours sincerely ........... Keep a covering letter short - all details relevant to the position that you are applying for should be on the cv, not in the letter.

My grandpa has prostate cancer, has alzheimers (short term memory problems), he looks to have a large mass on his liver and is having heart problems. I saw him today and he is not doing good. My grandma wants him to go to the hospital but he is scared and will not go. My grandma has no idea how to get him help since he refuses to go. What can she do? I told her she needs to be his power of attorney so she can do what's best for him since he doesn't fully understand his health issues. The doctors told him the large mass was probably cancer but he doesn't remember it. He is constantly having stomach pain and has low blood pressure. Today both his feet and lower legs were swollen. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.. Is it serious enough that he should go to a hospital tonight? He has an appointment for something on Wed but my grandma is scared he won't go..

How to change a lettering in files and folders?
