My ex husband and I own a home together. He lives in it, I live 5 hrs away (same state). B/C of financial issues he is looking for a housemate. Not thrilled, but I know he needs the money. I've seen contracts online, but do any of you have a suggestion about one that is the best? He'll be renting the master bed/bath and I/we could use some advice on what else this person would be able to use, utilities, etc.. any help appreciated thanks.
You need to send the revocation to whomever you have filed the original POA with. Link below to free form that you can copy into your word processing package and complete.. . If you originally received the POA through an attorney, it would probably be good money to go through them to revoke it as well.. . You will need to have your signature notarized to make it binding. You can probably go to your financial institution and have them do this for you.. . Good luck.
You can draw up a contract with this person. Outline in detail what you Need To SHARE with this particular person. Explain that this is an extremely sensitive issue. No one else know of the contents of this contract but he/she. If he/she utters a word regarding any information within this contract he/she agrees that you will take he/she to court at their expense to 1. garnish their wages from their job which he/she agrees to, 2. will be paying for all lawyer and court fees, 3. There is no time limit on this contract. It stays in affect until he/she dies.. . Make sure the the person you need to share information with is first willing to sign and HAVE IT NOTARIZED before you show the document. Be sure you show the document in front of a Notary and have 2 copies made with the raised seal.. . Do not tell this person anything until you are sure you can share this information and he/she is willing to sign a document that gives you the legal right to sue he/she if any of the information you have shared is "leaked" out.. . That's the only way you can protect yourself and your information
go to companies
It's basic purpose is to protect the info structure of a company, from being "leaked" or exploited. So basically, you can't take a company's idea or products, and use them to make money yourself, outside of your job. More recent documents have been made to capitalize on others' ideas and investments, citing "inspiration" from their products/services (basically, entitling companies to any "moneymaking ideas" you make, and any money thereof, within a certain time frame).. . It also stops you from having the legal right to discuss work (anything about it) off the clock, or to anybody you're not working with.
