Though there ARE so many alternative treatments available, that is not the main reason we do not accept blood transfusions. It is our strict beliefs that God commanded us to "abstain from blood." Without quoting scriptures, I'll just say the Bible is clear that those who choose to be Christians, abstain from blood! We take God's commandments very seriously & strictly obey them & that includes abstaining from blood in ANY form! We do not ingest it in any way, intravenously or by eating/ drinking it, or ingesting anything that even has a minute amount of blood as an ingredient! Even when the more popular belief in society says to do otherwise, we uphold that command & refuse blood in any form.

May I suggest you read the letter out loud, record yourself reading it and then listen to to yourself.. I agree that teaching is a very responsible and perhaps the most responsible profession but that does not mean all teachers are responsible.. I do not know what grade you are in but if I was your teacher and got a letter with the grammatical errors in your letter I would be disappointed.. When you read your letter please ensure what you wrote and not what you wanted to write.. I think it is great you do this and I would sent a copy to the principle and the head of the school board to ensure your teacher gets the deserved recognition.. Best of luck.
