Yes, but it doesn't mean he/she knows how to broker a deal.. . A lawyer is no differnet than a new Real Estate Agent. The difference is that a lawyer learned the law (in general). If the lawyer doesn't practice a particular part of the law he/she will be rusty at it. An agent learns the law (specifically real estate law) as well as some other do's and do not's during a 45 hour class. A Real Estate Broker has refreshed his /her education a second time around when taking the additional 45 hour class with some more in depth does and do nots. Along with Property Management, Real Estate Finance, Taxes and Assessment, Construction and Development and some other courses.

Yes, you can say "please accept this letter as application for employment" and then list some of your strengths and qualifications. Detail orientated, good people skills, works well under pressure, positive with a can do attitude. And then thank them in advance for considering your application.. good luck

You will see this on the site but I will repeat it here because it is important. NEVER sign any letters you send them (this does not make them "invalid") and if you send a cheque get a friend to write it from their account. This is because if they have a copy of your signature they might "find" a copy of an agreement that you don't remember signing..... . From experience, once you send this letter they realise that you know what you are talking about and stop sending letters that are basically trying it on.
