And is it ok for my husband and I to ask the realtors questions? We're interested in the house-- fully... but don't want them to think they need to get other offers, I don't know, does it matter basically? Is there anything we could say to them that would hurt our chances? I guess that's what I'm asking in this last bit. But I'd like to know if the previous owners having an attorney is truly good or what.. oops, and one last thing: they told us it could take up to 2 months to hear back. 2 months tops. I of course have read it can take much longer than that. Can I rely on their up-to-2-months prediction, or are they talking out their rear? Is there any way to hold them to their statement? I know it's out of their hands so really, don't know if it's possible I can. But if they gave us that prediction of 1-2 months, does that say there is a process in selling this home on the bank's end already started? I feel it sounds like there's no way to tell ....

I'm graduating law school in December and was wondering if there was an advantage in using these services....

I have to write a proposal outlining my rates, compensation expectations and the like for a graphic design project. This is my first time freelancing and I'm wondering if anyone knows of a template or a sample that I can look over.. . Please help! :). Thanks!.

Right to vote? When Southern states balked at implementing the 14th Amendment, Congress came back and passed the 15th Amendment in 1870, guaranteeing blacks the right to vote. Every single Republican voted for it, with every Democrat voting against it.. . Ku Klux Klan? In 1872 congressional investigations, Democrats admitted beginning the Klan as an effort to stop the spread of the Republican Party and to re-establish Democratic control in Southern states. As PBS' "American Experience" notes, "In outright defiance of the Republican-led federal government, Southern Democrats formed organizations that violently intimidated blacks and Republicans who tried to win political power. The most prominent of these, the Ku Klux Klan, was formed in Pulaski, Tenn., in 1865." Blacks, who were all Republican at that time, became the primary targets of violence.
