  • Before I started my own law firm representing victims of sexual harassment, defamation, wrongful termination, head injuries and injury accidents of all types, I actually worked as an attorney for the other side.

I was the senior partner in a large litigation defense law firm, representing employers and insurance companies who had been sued. Then, in the late 70's, as a favor I took on the case of an acquaintance who had been fired from his job. I tried his case and a jury awarded him more than $1 million. That became a landmark case in California. Pretty soon, more people began contacting me for help, especially for help with employment cases.

I gradually found it impossible to continue to represent insurance companies and employers. It simply was not compatible to defend insurance companies and employers while trying to help the many people who came to me for help. I was the senior partner of a large insurance company defense firm and here I was suing insurance companies! I found I had to leave the firm and start my own practice, which I did in 1997.

Helping People Navigate Through the Legal System

I find more satisfaction in helping individuals. I feel that I am really doing somebody some good, especially in a sexual harassment, wrongful termination, or serious injury cases. Those are the types of cases that can be devastating to someone's life. I get a great deal of satisfaction in helping people navigate through the legal system and receive compensation.

My litigation defense experience helps me obtain good results for my clients.? Having an experienced and aggressive advocate on your side is everything in an employment law case.

Top section looks very professional.. . First paragraph should be just 1 topic sentence: "I am writing in response to your listing for an Name of Position on the XXXX?s Career Development website." Your name is already at the top, so no need to repeat. Your college status fits better in the next paragraph.. . Second paragraph is a disaster. No one wants to read a solid block of 22 lines. Throw out the vast majority that should be in the attached resume/CV, which you should reference. Select a few key items and make them bullet points - far more readable and attention grabbing.. . Ending paragraph is okay. You could combine two sentences as "I look forward to an interview at your earliest convenience."

just a guess.. . I would try to focus on building your relationship with him and think about the future, an ex is an ex for a reason. It didn't work out, you might think of them sometimes, remember some good stuff but overall you remember that it didn't work. When he said he had never been in love before he probably now realizes looking back that he thought he was in love with the woman but it wasn't a deep and true love. He's probably learnt alot in the past few years,. . Good luck with your relationship, enjoy it, don't get bogged down in thinking about the past. You are the future x

If someone records you, then post it anywhere on the internet, you can sue them and win. Reason - you did not sign a Talent Release form. You can find who this person is, send them a cease and desist letter stating post it and I sue.
