  • Driving a truck to put himself through college, Tom graduated from the University of Washington with a "Poli Sci" degree in 1965 and then stayed at the U-Dub to earn his law degree in 1968. With degree in hand, Tom joined the Air Force where, as a JAG attorney, he served as a requested defense counsel, trying court martial cases from Boston to Thailand.

One would think he would have settled down after that; and in fact, he did to some extent. Tom became an associate at a large downtown Seattle firm, and after numerous firm changes, machinations and mergers, became a director of the firm until 1990. At that time, Tom's life took a new turn. He left his Seattle office with Rick Lowell to become a founding director of today's Magnuson Lowell, P.S. Because his home was in Tacoma, Tom spent many nights in those early days sleeping on the couch at the firm's Redmond office. Eventually, he moved closer to work and, today lives with his wife Judith on their beautiful spread, raising pet alpacas, llamas and sheep! For recreation, Tom enjoys commercial fishing in Bristol Bay, Alaska and has served as a guide for salmon fishing. He also loves being a "Mr. Fix-it!"

Tom has three grown children. Tom's daughter, Carrie, is a local dentist. His sons Jason and Jordan both work in "high tech" positions. As a child of the 50's, Tom readily acknowledges:

"I have no idea what they are trying to tell me they do!"

Tom's practice emphasizes personal injury litigation and misdemeanor and traffic infraction defense.

Hello, I am a 15 year old boy currently residing in Florida. Ever since I was able to talk, my father has been pushing me towards what he envisions as "success" for me. That plan includes going to a nice college in state for my Bachelor's degree, and then venturing into the big apple to attend New York University for law school. He has told me that I have to get a good understanding of New York City long before I ever move there or I will be lost. So, I've been looking at some apartments in the Bronx, and on the Realtor site, there is an option to look at the possible mortgage rates. The options being:. . 30 Year Fixed. 15 Year Fixed. 5 Year ARM. . and my questions are:. . What is the difference between a fixed and ARM mortgage?. . Once the term is over (30, 15, or 5 years) is over, do you simply own the property? Or is a mortgage . something you renew?. . And, if the previous is so, then why are all of the rates so similar in the monthly payment? Shouldn't the 5 year be very expensive, and the 30 year very inexpensive?. . I'm sorry for the bombardment of questions, I just want to get a good idea of this all before I'm out of college and completely oblivious to what needs to be done when one is living on their own.. . Also, for anyone who has lived in New York City before, what would you say the average monthly expenses total up to? That would be things such as food, water, electric, cable, internet, etc. Would a first year attorney be able to make it by themselves, or would they need to have a roommate, or possibly roommates?

I know catholics add a saints name but I'm not sure how that works. I want to add a name, is it legal to do so even if it costs?.

how do you get the writing format for it?.
