Live Silver is free. It's only if you want to play online that you need a subscription to Live Gold which is currently $60/year - but you can find prepaid subscription cards at Target, Walmart, Amazon for $40 sometimes. Also keep in mind that a Gold subscription works on all games - it is not a separate $60/mo for each game. So if you play 1 game online or 100 different games online, it's still only $60/year.. . Since online gamers are going to be using the network more than the Silver folks, it only makes sense that they pay something more for the maintenance of the network - the machines, the people who keep them running, the electricity the machines use, etc. Meanwhile Sony is hoping that PSN itself will generate its own revenue. It's not working that well from what I've heard. Sony charges publishers a lot more to host servers for games, and also requires the publisher to maintain their own servers. Sony even charges companies to host game demos, causing many publishers to just skip a demo entirely. Microsoft, meanwhile, maintains the servers for the games - not the publishers. It costs less to host a game on Live, and demos are hosted for free - after all, demos drive revenues, something Sony seems to have forgotten.. . Honestly, PSN is no where near as well implemented as Live. Live is better integrated into the 360 and each game a lot better than what the PSN has. Live's store is a lot better laid out than PSN's.. . Yeah, PSN is "free" but at least from my experience PSN is a good bit slower than Live. Case in point, I have both a 360 and PS3. Both are plugged into the same ethernet switch uplinked to the same port on my router. This is a 100mbps connection, which is way more than my internet connection which is 6mpbs (on a good day...). . I had my 360 and PS3 download a game. The 360's game was a 1GB demo. It took 40 minutes. The PS3 game was a 300MB arcade title. It also took 40 minutes. That's a 3x difference, and personally, if that speed delta is because I have a gold account on the 360, that's worth $5/mo. to me.. . Let's also not forget that PSN suffered a HUGE outage last month due to a hacker, the results of which will be felt for years. While no network is 100% hacker proof, apparently Sony cut some major corners on computer security in order to keep the costs of PSN down as much as possible. I don't know about you, but if $5/mo is what it takes for a company to hire some COMPETENT network programmers and IT technicians, who actually KNOW SOMETHING about network security? Yeah, I think it's worth the money - especially since a case of identity theft can easily cost me hundreds of thousands of dollars to resolve.. . As for the price for the game in the store, none of that money is used for the network. Nor does just about every game center around online. If you're talking your standard FPS, sure, but there's way more than just FPS titles on the market you know. Besides if you're really playing that much online, that $60/year is hardly going to be noticed.

When you enter the right number on the wrong line of your tax form...?

As for being savvy in screenwriting, a storyline for production, one should have that English composition background to understand structure for introduction and presentations.. . You name some elements to build with already and you have to have a 'road map' for them to travel on. An outline and chronology is what you have to learn to as understood techniques and application, when it comes to putting across a story for literature, or as even a simple book report.
