• Shanks Leonhardt joined Sanders & Parks in 2007 and was recognized in the 2012 and 2013 edition of Southwest Super Lawyers as an Arizona Rising Star.   He is highly experienced in counseling and representing insurers in complex bad faith, construction defect, additional insured, personal injury and primary/excess coverage issues, including a focus on counseling, advising, and litigating cases where insurers that have been subjected to Arizona's Damron and Morris Agreements. Mr. Leonhardt has played a key role in negotiating favorable resolutions for insurers involving multi-million-dollar exposures arising from Damron and Morris Agreements.

  Mr. Leonhardt also routinely handles products liability claims, including successfully resolving commercial and personal injury claims arising out of industrial equipment, aircraft components, and concrete sealant. As part of this practice, Mr. Leonhardt won an important appellate decision in a published decision issued by the Arizona Court of Appeals on April 24, 2012. The opinion discussed and clarified Arizona's jurisprudence on personal jurisdiction over foreign manufacturers.

  Mr. Leonhardt has also handled complex employment law matters for employers involving discrimination, retaliation, and "whistleblowing" activities.

  As a part of his complex civil litigation work, Mr. Leonhardt has successfully represented parties at mediations, arbitrations, depositions, appeals, and various hearings before the federal and state courts in Arizona, Colorado, and New Mexico. In addition to his civil litigation work, Mr. Leonhardt also advises parties on transactional and litigation matters related to copyright and entertainment law issues.

  Mr. Leonhardt earned his Juris Doctor degree from the Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law at Arizona State University where he graduated with Honors in 2007. So, my parents messed up on my paperwork. . I have two different names on 3 of my like most important papers.... like the middle and first names are switched around.. my passport and my citizenship papers say the same name, but its the wrong name, my middle name and my first names are switched around.. on my birth certificate it says differently, the right one.. . how do i fix this? and is it gonna cost anything? how much?.

I'm a 26 year old who is sadly in the dark when it comes to savings/investment. My husband and I make a decent living (around 180K combined) but have no idea how we should be saving/investing. We've been saving 1000/month and now have 30K in savings. My husband is 36. The power of attorney is a non issue and doesn't apply.. . Any one of the owners including the one that wants you out, can evict you. Each and everyone of the 5 are owners, whether as a group or an individual. As far as the law is concerned, that one owner can speak for the entire group.. . The issue is that when these 5 people got together to buy this property, they didn't setup a partnership. The other 4 owners need to talk to an attorney that specializes in business Law in particular the rules governing partnerships.
