Basically what she needs is a reference, preferably one from someone held in high regard within the community, and preferably on a company letterhead to prove to the court that you have sufficient status to be a reliable witness to her achievements in the past 5 months.

I am a college student programmer and I was hired for a co-op to develop a fairly large program that schedules and books appointments, manages personal calendars, registers new clinical patients, tracks inventory and assets, creates forms and office documents/templates and also manages users that use the program through php, mysql, and ajax.. . I was hired to work and complete the project and be paid to only work 30/hours a week from last sept to dec. Unfortunately i never finished by then and I have been working until now to try and finish the program. It is very large and I have been the only one working on it without any support from anyone else, I am only 20 and have never done anything this big. They are starting to be sketchy on pay, I am being paid near minimum wage to develop this program and I am calling it quits and going to tell them to develop a professional with years of experience him or her. Do you think this is the right thing to do? What would you have done?. Usually in project management, the project team will have its own equipment to develop with etc, but since I was paid hourly and i'm the only one working on this, it is not like a normal project. I have been using all of my own equipment without being compensated for it. They also have been over the past month 1/2 wanted me to work in office with only my own laptop which is very small and hard to efficiently work on.. *edit* They are starting to be sketchy on pay, I am being paid near minimum wage to develop this program and I am calling it quits and going to tell them to hire a professional developer with years of experience behind him or her. The office i'm develping for is a midwifery clinic with about 8 midwives and a few other employee's. I don't need this income right now and I have other projects that I want to complete that doesn't involve this.. @ Nikhil S - I was hired as a co-op student. Co-op is supposed to be a paid learning experience where students get to go into the professional field and are usually taken under someones wing and trained how things work out in the real world. I was hired before I was even told what they wanted in the program, they actually wanted all of this + they wanted it to work with their palms. I told them that is too mcuh. It isn't a hospital, it is a clinic with around 8 midwives, 2 administrators, and a few other ppl that come in occasionally to help file things. And again, I am a college student with no professional experience. Yea sure I was trained in project management but I had no idea it would take so long to complete, no one has ever told me and I have no experience with actually developing an ERP. Sure most ERp projects fail too, but I first I was hired before even told hoiw much they wanted and then i told them I could try and I estimated dates, and made them aware that icould take lon. ...longer. Thank god there was nothing signed, I never signed anything saying I'd complete it within certain dates or else. I just gave them a schedule of estimated dates when things would be completed and we had weekly meetings on progress. Unfortunately they didn't come to every meeting and actually went for months at a time iwth no meeting because they were too "busy"..

Hi... I have an email autoresponder, however, It requires an email to be sent from the "leads" themselvse to actually reply... meaning an email has to be sent from visitors email accounts to opt in... I need a simple customizeable php "subscribe" form where visitors can enter their name and email, and an email is sent from their email adress and to my autoresponder..... . Thanks..

If you want to reschedule your hours it is best to write a letter of your intent anyway. Just make sure you make and keep a copy of it.
