after the lengthy application process and obtaining the visa my wife came to the states. We were then married. She wanted to take my name but the person at the county clerks office seamed clueless, saying we did that though immigration. A year later and still waiting for the green card part to finalize and the immigration people (being somewhat worthless but seeming more like they don't give a shit about answering question) we still do not know at what part can we have her name changed.

Hi there I have a nearly 3year old and 18month old. Both children have the same father but have my surname. When we registered them after they were born my partner and I were having troubles so he is actually only on the youngest ones birth certificate. We've decided now that we would like the children to have his surname as we are hoping to get married in the future,I know that legally the only way to change the youngest ones name is to get married or by deed poll but my question is can i give them their fathers surname to start school without it being a problem as i don't want them to start school in my surname only to change it a few years later?? My oldest will be starting in november and the school already have her name down will it be a problem to change it. Thanks.

If you opt for A then you do not have to pay into the National Health Care plan. Liberals wet dream...they can support all those who don't have health insurance.. . Some people want option B...I think that we should let them have it. If they want to participate in a National Health Care plan, they should have that option. If you don't, then you shouldn't be forced into it.. . There would be no new taxes to support this....only what those who want it pay into it.. Universal...National....whatever you want to call it....it's a crock if you ask me..
