• Charles T. Scott joined the firm in 2010 after serving as Chief Clerk and Court Attorney Referee?with the Westchester County Surrogate's Court. During his 28 years with the court, Mr. Scott handled complex estate litigations, supervised disclosure, presided over non-jury hearings related to kinship and accountings and mediated settlement agreements in litigations covering the spectrum of Surrogate's Court proceedings.

  Mr. Scott presently serves on the Executive Committee of the New York State Bar Association, Trusts and Estates Law Section, and is a member of the Surrogate's Court Advisory Committee to the Chief Administrative Judge of the Courts of the State of New York, where he is instrumental in formulating trusts and estates law and procedure in New York State. Mr. Scott is recognized as an authority in the area of fiduciary accounting and Surrogate's Court practice and procedure. Im 14 and Im changing my name to Hazel, I love that name and I strongly dislike my name right now. I'm not that close to my parents and I don't know how to tell them I want to. I'm going to change it no matter what they say I guess Ill have to wait till I can do it myself, but can I just go by Hazel even if it isnt legaly Hazel?

everytime i start up windows right before it gets to the logon screen the screen turns black and it stays like that for 3-5 min before going on to the logon screen then once i log in it will show the background and it will take a few mins before everything appears. i will try the disk clean up but it never used to do this it just started doing this and comp is virus free.

Changing last name on court orders?

I asked for $5K more per year and twice the amount of stock options. My future boss was shocked and stutter a bit for a moment. He said he'd have to get back to me as he'd never had anyone counter offer. He gave me $2,500 of the $5K annual salary that I asked for and he gave me 3/4 of the amount of stock I requested. That stock option was amazing. Our company stock doubled and then split several times, and eventually was bought out by very large well-known corporation in Silicon Valley. . The stocks have paid for college for our three children. The company (that was into voice/video packet technology was well known in Silicon Valley and was eventually purchased by Cisco Systems.
