• William A. (Bill) Simon is a native of New York City and grew up in Pelham, a nearby Westchester suburb, where he attended public schools. In 1969 he graduated from Duke University with a B.A. in History. He obtained a J.D. (Doctor of Laws) degree from Washington University in 1974 and an LL.M. (Master of Laws) degree from New York University in 1983. He was admitted to the New York State Bar in 1976. Since then he has practiced law continuously with small law firms in Manhattan. Since 1991 he has been a member of the law firm of McGarry & Simon, which has offices at the corner of Madison Avenue and 42nd Street.

  Throughout his career, Bill has represented individuals and small businesses in a wide range of legal fields, always maintaining a special concentration in the field of trusts and estates. He regularly handles both estate planning and estate administration, including litigation in the Surrogate's Court, such as will contests.
