Allied Interstate keeps calling my house, three or four times a day. I returned the phone call, to see what it was regarding. They told me I had to make a payment over the phone with a debit or credit card or check. I told them I do not do that kind of thing over the phone and I need a letter validating the debt, I would like to see it on paper. It isn't a stall tactic, but I don't recall ever getting any letters from this company. I asked to simply send me a letter, he said that it is a stall tactic and that he refuses to send me a letter, he said everything is done over the phone. I told him I am not comfortable with this. He said they already sent out a letter, I explained I am not the only one living here and I did not receive it. I wanted the letter so I could actually see what he was talking about. I refuse to give out my information on the phone. He then told me that if I don't like it that I can call Verizon (who the debt is supposedly through) myself. When you call them, they'll just end up telling me that they sold my information to the collection agency. So, was I wrong here? I did not admit nor decline the debt, all I wanted was written proof so I could take it from there.. What is "SOL"?. Thank you echo =].

really the only software you need is MS word or other word processor. Some novel writing program might help you outline your story and give you suggestion. However the software is also limiting your at the same time because you are following their instruction. . I use whitesmoke for writing. It is better at catch grammar and spelling error IMO (i am an ESL student so error correction is very important for me). . Don't pay extra money for a software. Instead invest in a couple good research books. A style book. A copy of The First Five Pages. A copy of On Writing. Writers Market.

I don't really trust people unless they're in my family. Its really hard for me to trust... I barely even trust my best friend. Sometimes I think that I need to make it through life on my own without the help of others. Anyone else like that?. . Do you think its better not to trust people than to trust people?.
