Should I give my parents temporary custody of my 6 month old daughter while I'm away for college?
How Do I Make My Own Web Template?.
How to write a good application ?
How do I open my own business?
what is written on the packs
I have a company laptop but signed no digital / electronic property agreement. I have created about 20 different spreadsheets, reports, standard operating procedures, and step by step training manuals for crucial reporting elements of the business. I do not want the data contained within the documents, I am wondering if the templates themselves belong to me. I am the "author" on the Properties tab (which basically means nothing) but I have also locked my master templates coupled with storing them on an external drive. These reports are all used on a daily basis by many departments in my company, so of course they are all on network drives which I cannot do anything about. Again, I do not wish to have any part of the data, I would like to know simply if the templates containing nothing but my formats and formulas are my property. I signed an employee handbook and multiple revisions since my hire date, I have read this handbook front to back and it includes nothing of implied or written electronic property agreements.. . I am told that the rule is "implied" whether you sign an agreement or not. I personally (no law experience) do not believe implications would hold up in court (not saying I am going to file any lawsuit). I would simply like to carry this work on to similar jobs in the future if things go awry in my present situation, it is not my intent to use the files I created maliciously against my employer, I would just like to make money off of it as well if things do not work out in the future-
