I agree with Sgt Big Red, Asset is one of the worst. That is one reason why you should not ignore them, but send them the validation letter and followed by a SOL letter if it has been longer than 4 years from your last payment to SBC.. . Phone bills "generally" fall under the UCC (for goods & services) with a 4 year collecting SOL.

How does probate work when there are back payments on an investment property? I want my sister to make the back payments using the estate's money and then I'll continue to make the payments going forward to keep the other family member in the house, but the problem is my Sister doesn't want/think that the estate needs to make the back payments. I told her (with my very limited knowledge) that the probate process is going to force the estate to make the back payments anyway, so make them now to save any further fees/penalties (right now there are $2,000 in fees included in the $8,000 back payments). . What I'm looking for is some 'proof' to show her that the estate is responsible for those payments so she'll make them. I'm afraid that the probate process is going to take too long and the sheriff's sale is going to happen May 6, 2010..

Pretty much all my family are very religious and christian. They don't believe in gay marriage/rights. Especially my father. Her despises them for some reason that I dont know.. I am lesbian, but i have not told them. I have had a girlfriend for a couple months now and she really wants to meet my family.. I havent told her that they dont even know that im lesbian. Everytime i try to bring it up, my father says somewhat like this: "Gays are f*gs, etc" "Gay marriage is wrong." And it just tears me to pieces.. I'm 17 also. Im afraid if I tell my family they will hate me or disown me... Help me with advice? Please? :( I feel like not having my girlfriend not meeting my family is hurting her feelings and hurting our relationship... I just dont know what to do..

Most estate attorneys either work for a specified percentage of the total estate value (as seems to be the case here), or they work on an hourly fee. When this attorney started handling this case, he should have provided you with a written retainer agreement that clearly specified how he would be paid. If you do not have a copy of this, ask for a copy to be sent to you.

MLA format is just a way of formatting your paper, it's preferred in standard essays (such as from your english class), so learn it now 'cause you'll need it later...however it's actually much easier than what people make of it:. . paper formatting...the basics:. -1inch margins all around. . -use 12point font...and legible font like arial or times new roman. . -identify specifics at the start of your paper...flush left and type in your name, instructor's name, course, and date (dd_month_yyyy). . -after specifics, enter your title. Center the title...don't underline it nor quote it. . -after the title, start your paper. . -create a header 1/2inch down from the top of the page and flush right...type in your last name and insert page number (last name_page#). . -double space the entire paper (don't put an extra double space between paragraphs, the spacing between paragraphs should look like the rest of your paper). . -italicize or underline titles of works. . -only create a title page if your instructor asks for it. . referencing and quoting, as well as the works cited page is where it gets messy...it varies depending on your sources, so just check up some sites that offer examples based on the sources that you use. heh, I've done MLA formatting more than enough times to be sick of it, so feel free to email if you need help.
