Real Estate

I don't know if there is God, all I know it that none of the worlds religions seem real to me ( a mixture of myths and stories).. . So if there is a God , can I write my own testament ?. . Reach out to God, ask him to reveal himself to me, and then write down what he tells me . If I receive anything, I could write down messages I receive. has anybody else thought of doing this ? Look for God, wipe the slate clean. See if he speaks to us and keep a record of any message we get ?.
