Once you have received the documentation for your EAD, you must go in person to the nearest Social Security Administration office with your passport, EAD & immigration documentation, and apply for a Social Security number. It takes about 4 weeks to receive your Social Security card since they will verify your status with immigration before issuing the card, then it's mailed.. . Once you have EAD (or your AOS comes through) and you have that documentation, plus your Social Security card, you can go to DMV & apply for a drivers license, etc.

How do I know which real estate company is best?

We need help with finding out if we have to go to a lawyer or if we can use an online package for making out a living will complete with an estate trust and also power of attorney for our mother living in South Carolina. . We need to get this done immediately since she never got her will changed when she got divorced in Colorado a year ago. We are just finding this out now and she is scared that if something happens to her that her ex-husband will be able to take it all. Her house is totally paid for and she has a good sized amount of money that could be taken. Also she needs someone to be able to make health decisions if the time would come that she might not be able to tell them her wants and needs.. Hopefully some of you can help us with all of this since no one can give us an answer here in South Carolina without making an appointment and them being honest with us. Thank you for your help..

People younger than the provinces age of Majority can change their names if they have their guardians consent, are legally married or have a Common law marriage.[19] To change a name a Name Change application must be submitted to either the Ministry of Government Services, Court of justice or Registrar of civil status. A document such as a birth certificate must be submitted. A statement as to why the name is being changed is needed in most areas and the reason has to be serious. In Canada, a name cannot cause confusion, be used for misrepresentation or fraud and in most cases the name change is announced in newspapers.
