  • Scott is an experienced litigator and a leader in the firm’s construction law practice group. He has represented construction contractors and construction design professionals such as architects and engineers in a variety of errors and omissions claims where the claimed damages have included catastrophic bodily injury and death, property damage, construction delay damages, liquidated damages and other economics losses arising from design errors on construction projects.

As a result of the service he has provided to his design professional clients, Scott’s professional liability practice has evolved into representation of lawyers and medical professionals in professional negligence claims.

Scott has tried numerous bench and jury trials and binding and non-binding arbitrations. After obtaining successful judgments for his clients, Scott has successfully argued appeals of the judgment before Appellate Courts and the Ohio Supreme Court.

  • In 1958, Richard T. Reminger started a solo practice law firm, principally involved in the defense of litigation involving truck lines and personal injury. By the early 1960s, he had established himself as an acclaimed civil defense lawyer, with a reputation for guts and getting to the bottom line as quickly as possible. That is the singular value that still defines the firm he founded.

Throughout the 1970s, the firm grew, first into a small firm noted for trial work arising from serious personal injury cases, and then to new levels of sophistication. By the 1980s, Reminger & Reminger was the preeminent firm in Ohio concerning the defense of medical malpractice claims, a reputation we enjoy to this day. But by the mid 1980s, what was a small firm had now become forty lawyers, with expansion into virtually all avenues of civil defense. These included mass tort litigation, product liability, professional malpractice, probate and estate litigation, employment litigation, and virtually every area of civil dispute resolution.

Today, with over 120 lawyers, Reminger & Reminger is a regional law firm, with offices across the state of Ohio, and in Kentucky. Our growth and success has always been rooted in holding fast to the simple values of its founder, even as the subject of our litigation has grown ever more complex. When opponents across the table see that Reminger & Reminger represents their opposition, they are certain that they will be met with lawyers that do not shy from risk, and that will insist on the quickest approach to the bottom line. That is the heritage we enjoy, and what we will always demand of our lawyers.

If she wants you to invest in the property, please, please do not jump into this without the advice of two different types of experts:. First, a top notch real estate agent who handles investment property. And second, an attorney.. . From what you have said, I think it is extremely unlikely that this would be a good way to spend your money, especially if you don't already own a home. This money pit will suck your savings dry. If you had an extra pot of gold you didn't really need, and you were savvy in real estate investing, you might consider it. But if you do, in your present circumstances, it's unlikely that you'll ever buy that home.. . Suggest to your sister that she consider taking on a seasoned investor as a partner, or think of selling the property if the market is still good in your area.

He was probably given naltrexone in the form of a depot injection that will last about a month. It's an opioid antagonist used to detoxify opiate addicts and keep alcoholics relapsing. I've never seen it work. There is no quick fix for substance abuse, and there is no one single cause for it, so there's no one cure that fixes everyone. "Tough love" doesn't work. As an addict gets older, there's a greater chance of remission, meaning quitting altogether. Addicts and alcoholics act like children, and they should be treated accordingly. You will likely have to do something about this rather than leaving it to your parents or the government. Make sure that he understands that he can live there as long as he doesn't drink or bring drugs in the house. If he does, throw him out until he sobers up. Ignore his whining, apologies, and feelings. Pour out his liquor and beer, and flush his drugs down the toilet. Get some pepper spray and use it. If you are aggressive, he will either quit or leave. He's gotten used to getting his way, and that has to come to an end. Do not trust anyone who can tell you that they can take care of the problem. They can't. He's family, and you should take care of it yourselves.. . I used to drink a lot and abuse drugs. I've been in jail, but only for misdemeanors, not felonies. I don't drink anymore because as a diabetic, I can't. I don't use addictive or illegal drugs anymore because treating the diabetes fixes the symptoms I was self-medicating for, such as pain and anxiety. I wish it were that easy for everyone. I do not "smoke weed occasionally," nor do I go to Alcoholics Anonymous or Narcotics Anonymous meetings. I recommend against 12-step groups because they are religious, and I know that sitting around talking about drinking and drugs is more likely to make someone want to use than not to use.. . He needs to be removed from his habits as much as possible. He needs to get some time experiencing things without being high or drunk. Give him a year. Don't tell him he has a year, just keep that amount of time to yourself. If he doesn't get better in a year, let the state take care of him. If he really doesn't get better, it's possible to have him committed to a state hospital, but use that as a last resort. You'll also have to speak with a psychiatrist and probably a lawyer to make sure he is committed and to figure out a way he won't be released, ever.. . My mother never gave up on me, and now I'm better. It would be nice if that worked for everyone.. . Addendum: You could have him sign a medical power of attorney document as a condition of living with your parents. It shouldn't be hard to convince him that it's better to sign than be thrown out in the cold. It may be a good idea to make up a lease document that allows him to live with your parents as long as he does not bring in alcohol, drugs, or come home drunk. There is middle ground between being totally accommodating to his every whim and citing "tough love" to throw him out and forget he ever lived.

I am living in GURGAON from last 2 years and I am from Chandigarh !! I want to apply for a gas connection !! Pls tell me the complete procedure !!!.

Delete "My name ... and" and simply say, "I write to apply for a teaching assistant position at (school). If you are writing to someone at the school, presumably the school's name is part of that person's title/address at the beginning of your letter, so omit it here.. . Do you have a teaching certificate? a college degree? What have you been doing during the four years since you graduated from high school? I don't like the first three sentences because they provide lots of reasons to throw your letter in the trash can. They need to be rewritten. I don't know why you give your age. The reader should be able to figure it out from your resume, which you must include. "While my experience in a public school classroom is limited, I have a lot of experienced ...." I like that sentence.. . Delete "when I look at children." "I focus on children's strengths and .... For example, ....". . delete the comma after "modify the play,". delete "either" which is used with two, and only two, options and you list more. . "and working with them to develop new and/or greater proficiency in various skills.". "and I usually saw an improvement in their behavior.". a school "must be" a safe place. . New paragraph. I hope you regard my application favorably. I would appreciate the opportunity to discuss my qualifications and experience in greater detail with you and your staff, and look forward to hearing from you. Your consideration is appreciated.. . Yours truly,. . (your signature). . Your Name

passed 1st interview...2nd interview rly short...ahhhh its killing me help!!!!!!?

I cannot and will not write the letter for you but I will give you tips.... Progression requested: this simply means they want to know what "advancements you have made in your education since you last submitted you information".. Pre-Course Articulation Requested Yes/No simply say YES. Qualifying/Progression details (Include) (This is why you must state how you have qualified (whatever the qualifications for the scholarship were) and how you feel you qualified for the scholarship and why you feel you are the best qualified for the scholarship. No one else can write this letter. It has to be in your own words explaining why YOU feel you are the best candidate for this scholarship. You must "boast yourself up" and really make yourself look good. Make sure you list all your extra curricular activities and clubs you were in so they know you have a wide variety of social interests. Good luck.. Peace, Love & Happiness
