Power of Attorney requires the person who needs the help giving the responsibility to someone else with his own free will. He may need a conservator which costs some to apply and goes through the courts. Look in the phone book for an attorney who deals with social security, conservatorship. There are attorneys who might take the case for a portion of the money he would get in back payment.

I don't have a pointed reference, but it seems to me that following the style conventions for traditional business letters in an e-mail is somewhat redundant.. . After all, your e-mail application automatically includes the date, and I believe it's more accepted and reader-friendly to have an e-mail signature at the end of your message that includes your name, title, address, etc.. . E-mails -- particularly business e-mails -- are best kept as concise and easy-to-read as possible. So I'd say it would be much more effective to forgo the traditional letter format, include a professional-looking e-mail signature and keep the content of your message as brief and informative as possible.

isn't it a bit like loosing a bit of your own identity?. After all.. you were born with that name, why give it up?. I know you can keep your name, what I'd like to know is why some women do change it... and are happy to do it!. Er.... my family name IS my name.... :S.

Writing letters is a good way to express your love.

Just got married!! Name change question!?

In the UK you can change your name legally by *DEED POLL*, for around ?40, (price about 3-4 years ago) at the register office where the birth was registered, and this way you don't need to go to a solicitor either, you could go to the solicitor, or you can go to your countries court office and they can run you through the process. The easiest and cheapest way would be by the 'Deed Poll' though.. . You could have actually changed your name when you were under aged, but you just needed parental permission.
