It really depends on where you live. Here you can go to the courthouse and self-file for a name change. It is a little costly (court filing fees and you must "advertise" the name change, which costs money...see below for more info). However, many counties offer a no-cost or reduced cost filing option if you can show the courts that you are financially unable to pay the fees. Visit your local courthouse or look it up online for self filing forms and to get more information.. . The biggest part of a name change is that it is time consuming. You must petition the court, attesting that your name change will not cheat or harm anyone, and then wait for the judge to sign the initial approval. Once that has been done you must "advertise" the name change. This involves printing a short ad in the announcements section of the classifieds of 2 or more newspapers for two weeks (although, this may vary from state to state....you will have to check with your local courthouse for details). You then provide the judge with proof that this has been done (copy of the ad with a paid invoice) and then the judge rules that the name change is complete.

I need to create a letter with the intent of not renewing my contract this is a 1 month notice. This letter should have reasons of why I am not renewing and should mentioned that all my gratuity should be given upon my release. Please kindly help and give me a good format. I have searched several websites but they have given me crap or not suited to what I need..

Hindu marriages, where both the spouses are Hindu, solemnised as per custom, can be registered at Registrar of Hindu marriages, who is usually the sub-registrar of the area of jurisdiction. It can be registered immediately upon presentation of forms with documents. Usual time taken is 2 to 4 hours, depending upon the rush on that day. Three jurisdictions exist, place of residence of either spouse, and the place where marriage was solemnised. you can choose the convenient one.. Doc. required: Prescribed form to be filled in with three witnesses who attended the wedding, of whom one may be a relative of either spouse. Marriage invitation, joint photograph, age proof of both (SSLC/Driving License, passport), address proof of both (Ration Card, Election identity card, passport). Photocopies are to be submitted. Originals to be held readily, if verification is sought.. You can apply for as many copies of the certificate as may be needed. A minimum of six may be obtained by paying the prescribed fees.. Assistance of a lawyer is optional.

A marriage effects your surname, not your middle name. However, you can petition the courts to change or remove your middle name. It really has nothing to do with getting married.

Without a written contract, the details of the agreement may have to be determined another way.. . For instance, there is no question that you built the house. If there were a question, a simple search of purchase records could resolve the question. Since you did build the house, there must have some agreement in place (verbal or otherwise). . If the laws in your jurisdiction require that the builder provide a 1 year warranty, if they can prove that you are the builder, you may have no choice.. . Remember this. If you have to provide the warranty, that does not mean that you have to do the work. You can call the sub, they should have a warranty on their work which you can exercise.. . To sue you would be expensive and therefore is not very likely if the amount in question is small.. . Good Luck

somebody has given me her email and asked me to send her an email so that she can get my email address for future correspondence. Since this is a formal context, i cant just send her an empty mail or say something like "hello this is my email address" . Can you tell me what should I write in the email? It should be formal.. thanks.
