hey i was just thinking when can you change your name and does it cost aswell?. if so do you know how much. i am a 13 year old and i dont really like my name. my full name is manpreet but my mum and dad called me manni since i was little. i was okay with it till i got to secondary school where i got teased over it (people called me man and manfred). people that still hear my name still laugh, i get called by my full name, manpreet, sometimes and even then people tease me over that.. its sort of destroyed my confidence and i just cant imagine introducing myself when im older saying to people my names manni.. . my mum says i can change it now but isn't it 16 as the legal age? and also as my middle name is mikayla do you think i could change it to that and then be know as kayla or mikkie from that? i know i sound probably like a idiot but the thing that makes me not want to do a name change is how do i get all my friends to suddenly start calling me that?
