Hi, I have an Access 2010 database with a table for products, suppliers and order-details. I have a form based on the order-details that works well for selecting products based on the supplier selection. Where I?m struggling is that when I select a product in the order-details form the price doesn't display even though the item has a price in the products table. I have a join between the products, suppliers and order-details table that works perfectly for selecting suppliers and limits the list of products to the selected supplier. What I want is when I select a product the price will automatically populate, so far I can?t get this to work. Any ideas?. . Thanks.

i've had this come up many times. here's what you should do, have your wife find out from the lender what they want. In my experience, the lender required a durable power of attorney and at times, they require it to be transaction specific, meaning only to be used for the purchase of the home. Then, have either an attorney or the title company draft the poa to the lender requirements. Now, depending on what you and your wife want to do, you may draft two poa's, one for the purchase of the home, the other for all other matters, that's up to you. The other VERY, VERY important piece here is up to you. Find out if you have a notary public on base, if not, you have a small problem. I'm assuming your overseas, if so, and you don't have a notary public, then you MUST go to an american consulate to get the poa notarized (have your wife check on this too, some lenders may accept another country notary, but I highly doubt it as the county clerk may not accept it if it's an out of country notarization) If you want to do this yourself, try to google durable power of attorney in the state the residence is in, have it executed and iovernight it to your wife, she MUST have the original document or the bank may proceed/fund the loan without it, again, it will be a bank requirement.
