  • Dan Bacalis is an attorney who is a widely recognized leader in the area of family law litigation. Dan has practiced primarily in the area of family law in Tarrant County (and the surrounding counties) for over 25 years. He was educated at the University of Michigan and is presently board certified in family law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.

To become board certified, an attorney needs to go through a process of peer reviews in order to be permitted to be tested to prove his special expertise and competence in the area of family law. In addition to the testing procedures, one must also have practical "hands-on experience" in actual cases tried and contested before judges and juries.

Dan has tried cases all over the state, although the bulk of his practice is in Tarrant County where he is well known among the family law attorneys, court personnel and presiding judges.

Dan's strength as a practitioner lies primarily in his desire and ability to make the legal process as simple as possible. When negotiating and settling cases he has found that the client ends up with a quicker, more efficient result that is less expensive and less emotionally draining. However, when circumstances dictate otherwise, he is more than willing to "take the matter to court" to get a fair and equitable settlement from the court system.

His board certification status establishes he knows how to litigate if such is necessary. Most of the cases involve matrimonial issues such as divorce, child support, custody and property division. Family law cases are typically emotional and stressful situations that call for a talented litigator to balance the needs for a fair settlement through "the court systems" against achieving a fair result by full scale litigation. Dan tends to get to the heart of the issues without needlessly inflaming the emotional fires that already exist within the case.

Please help with this email cover letter for resume - How do I write this?

the presumption is that you would not apply for a job at a place you cannot get to, one way or another.. . Since turnover at nursing and care homes is often high, I think you might serve yourself better by going to each one and filling out a job application, asking that you be considered the next time they have an open position. This lets them see you and shows that you're serious about getting this type of work.

To sell your home: Paint all neutral colors, get rid of family photos and all clutter, set a price slightly below market value. Make your yard beautiful. Curb appeal sells homes. Keep it clean at all times. And hang in there. Please find another attorney. This one sounds crooked. Best of luck.

I have a canon printer and scanner MP495 and I want to scan a document which is a form to fill in. It scans either as a photo jpeg or tiff or bitmap or as a PDF or text on notepad. The PDF won't let me do anything with it and neither with the pictures and the notepad text is no good because it is just continous text. How do I get the form into microsoft office (which is probably what the original hard copy was created in) so that I can fill in the details on the computer. Is there any way of either scanning it or changing the pdf once scanned to an office template? I would rather fill in the form on the computer rather than manually with a pen - as it looks more professional?. I don't have nitro.

You will need to get an attorney. You should qualify for free legal help through legal aid. If you have trouble locating legal aid, ask a reference librarian at the public library to help you find out how to contact them.

) I think writers spend too much time worrying about the insignificant things and not the bigger worries (not saying that you do, just a general observation).
