Cover letter is an opportunity to introduce yourself: Every cover letter has three main sections. This being the first one. Remember to get to the point and mention what position you are applying for, where did you get to know about the opening and why you think you are suitable for the position.

Next year I have to take microbiology, organic chemistry, and two other elective classes. I am nervous for several reasons. In my first year, I put on more weight than I should have because of poor food choices and options. Secondly, I thought first year was tough and full of bullshit from the university/professors and despite all this I pulled off a really high gpa. Thirdly, the uni is so expensive that I can feel the pressure from my dad. Also, I hate that every day I need to wake up at a different time (didn't get one class I wanted so I needed to take another one). I'm kind of panicking because of my wake up times for each day since I can't go to sleep until late at night and I can't go to bed at different times every day even if I'm tired.. . On top of that, I am worrying about how grades alone don't matter much, and worrying and worrying and complaining so much. Also I'm worried about saying this... . Yes, my brain is going to explode..

The fundamental contradiction lies in that a cover letter is a written sales pitch for the "me and my skills". How do you sell yourself without mentioning yourself?. . Its like trying to sell insurance without using the word 'insurance'.. . Besides, writing a letter without using first-person pronouns is incredibly difficult. (Case in Point: In this question alone there are no less than 4 personal pronouns.).

Estate planning two properties after Dad's passing...?

I've recently changed my name by Deed Poll. When I first began searching for ways to do this, I discovered that it was unnecessary to use a solicitor and that any document which contains the correct wording is valid. I signed this and had two witnesses sign the document and sent it to the passport office, who recognised it as a legal document and sent me a passport with my new name. My university recognised it as a legal document and updated my records to reflect this. However, the lady at my bank told me that it was not a valid document because it did not have a stamp and was not created by a solicitor. Even when presented with my new passport, she refused to accept it. I know I'm in the right here because the law says that I am. If the passport office, which is run by the government, can recognise that it is a legal document, then why can't the bank? What should I do from here? I suppose I'm looking for either legal advice or advice from somebody who has changed their name before. Thanks!.
