• Originally from Birmingham, Alabama, Dennis graduated from St. Mary's College of Maryland with a bachelor of arts degree in political science in 2003.? Following college he attended Howard University School of Law.? While attending law school, Dennis worked as a student legal assistant in the Division of Advice at the National Labor Relations Board. Upon graduation from law school he worked for two years at the National Labor Relations Board in the Division of Advice and in the Baltimore Regional Office.

  Prior to joining the firm, Dennis worked as an attorney-advisor in the District of Columbia Office of Labor Relations and Collective Bargaining where he represented the Mayor of the District of Columbia and various District agencies in labor and employment matters ranging from collective bargaining to litigation involving issues such as discipline and discharge, the Fair Labor Standards Act, the Family Medical Leave Act and Title VII of the Civil Rights Act.

Depends on what state your are in or intend to live in after you finish college. If you are willing to move (and need to), I recommend Real Estate Attorney. The reason I mentioned moving is that you want to be in a state that is considered an "Attorney State". NY, NJ and IL are a few I know of off the top of my head that are atty states. Real Estate agents are not at all supportive of the use of attorneys in transactions in non-atty states and unfortunately have a lot of influence over their clients where this is concerned. Regarding zoning and development, there are a small number of jobs in this field so the positions are scarce. One other thing to consider as a RE Atty, you may want to focus heavily on corporate relocation - no matter how bad the market, the corporate moves are always happening.
