Hi, although this really isn't typical of CVs, I am impressed by the effort you have made to develop your career.. . Basically your CV is too detailed and long. They are best when concise and hopefully clear.. . First of all, the section named "Myself", this is what you should put in your Covering Letter/Email. Plus linking the advertised job to your CV.. . The sequence that virtually all CVs follow is this:. . Contact details. . Personal Statement. . Work Experience. (most recent job first). . Qualifications. (starting with Secondary School). . Transferable Skills.. . Social Activities. . Your Personal Statement, being in the third person, reads well. However, remove the mention of your car, as you also have this in what should be entitled "Transferable Skills".. . Your Work Experience should be next, not education. There should be a From Date and To Date, Employer Name & 1-line Address. Then your Jobtitle, with at most just 1 or 2 lines summarising your main responsibilities (not duties).. . Remember your Secondary School, which is where you mention your GCSEs. Reason being the reader can see how you progressed through secondary and tertiary (further/higher) education. Also, do not list each application you used. Either just leave it as "ICT etc", or at most add "MS Office" et al.. . Do bullet-point those Transferable Skills. And call it such, as the recruiter wants to know what you can apply for them.. . Lastly Social Activities. Some people wrongly advise not to include these, as you too have left out. However, they can be the deciding factor amongst a sea of many other CVs. For it gives one a measure of your personality. For example, reading your CV made me think you were a bit of a computer 'nerd'. Show us that you have a life away from computers.. . All on just 1 page, in black ink on plain white paper. Also save as a '.pdf' file for email attachments.. . Just a little fun.... . I recognise your job at Scottish Power, as I did a very similar one for their main competitor Scottish Hydro-Electric (Scottish & Southern).. . Now with a better CV and a targeted Cover Letter/Email, all your effort will hopefully find you a job. And a good one....

My friends and I are trying to create a campus magazine and we already have the concept already but we don't want to start with the main magazine. We want to start with what we call mini-magazine. I can do all the stuffs but the problem is that I don't know any good software that will guide me in this process. I tried to download Adobe Indesign but the file size is too big for me. I have adobe photoshop in my pc and a couple of other softwares. I just need to know any other good and small file sized software to use and apart from that, if there is any template file for adobe photoshop or any other good resource that can guild me in creating a small magazine of 6 pages or less, I will be glad..

Thanks!.

I'm a teenager who wants to make an awareness documentary about suicide, depression and self harming. I want to target the common stereotypes people associate with Suicide, depression and self-harm. I don't want a plain text-based slideshow documentary - I want to make an informative documentary-film with re-creations of real events. (not huge events. just actors and locations - though locations probably won't be a problem). I understand that as I'm young and have a very limited budget, that this won't happen for some years time - but I was wondering how someone could go about making a documentary? would you have to ask for help from a label or make a deal with a TV company etc? I genuinely don't know where to start.. Please help?.

Can i do my amended tax at H & R block or any other tax service?
