Lawyers and law firms must comply with strict ethical standards. These standards extend to providing appropriate advice and legal representation for a reasonable fee. But a law firm's fiduciary duty to a client extends beyond fees, costs, and billing statements. Attorneys are also responsible for the timeliness and accuracy of advice they provide. This can include providing appropriate advice about potential tax consequences of your decisions, or the financial consequences of your actions. When an attorney is not sufficiently experienced or competent to provide advice in financial or other areas, he or she should inform you that you mush get the advice of another lawyer or law firm. When a lawyer's mistake causes damage beyond the loss of an underlying claim, the lawyer can be liable for damages if the lawyer had reason to believe that his mistake was likely to cause such damage. Breach of fiduciary duty claims take many forms and can occur from many aspects of the lawyer-client relationship. If you feel that your attorney has let you down, a breach of fiduciary duty lawsuit may be warranted.

MLA format is just a way of formatting your paper, it's preferred in standard essays (such as from your english class), so learn it now 'cause you'll need it later...however it's actually much easier than what people make of it:. . paper formatting...the basics:. -1inch margins all around. . -use 12point font...and legible font like arial or times new roman. . -identify specifics at the start of your paper...flush left and type in your name, instructor's name, course, and date (dd_month_yyyy). . -after specifics, enter your title. Center the title...don't underline it nor quote it. . -after the title, start your paper. . -create a header 1/2inch down from the top of the page and flush right...type in your last name and insert page number (last name_page#). . -double space the entire paper (don't put an extra double space between paragraphs, the spacing between paragraphs should look like the rest of your paper). . -italicize or underline titles of works. . -only create a title page if your instructor asks for it. . referencing and quoting, as well as the works cited page is where it gets messy...it varies depending on your sources, so just check up some sites that offer examples based on the sources that you use. heh, I've done MLA formatting more than enough times to be sick of it, so feel free to email if you need help.

Thanks in advance, any help is appreciated.

My husband bought a real estate how-to book and it has this warning in the front:. "All of our materials are protected under federal and state copyright laws.......... All matierals you buy are licensed (or, in the case of other author's works, sublicensed) to End Users and not sold, notwithstanding use of the terms "sell" "purchase" "order" or "buy" on the Site. Your license is nonexclusive, nontransferable, nonsublicensable, limited and for use only for you, the end user, and you ONLY. That means YOU CANNOT SELL, TRADE, COPY, ASSIGN, LEASE OR LICENSE YOUR RIGHTS IN THESE MATERIALS.". . Now, I understand what that means... but is it actually true? I thought a copyright was a copyright... and not a license. I thought a license was something that came with music and movies. People resell books all the time... entire industry of reselling books... So what's up with this disclaimer? Is it valid? How do you make something 'licensed' instead of just 'copyrighted'? How can I verify this 'license' exists? Does it exist just because this page says it exists?. . Nothing in the book (which is really just a binder full of photocopies that they made and sold) actually says the usual license warning stuff that's on the back of CDs and movies. All it says is 'Copyright 2005 All Rights Reserved".. . The reason I want to know is because, without having read this warning, I listed it on eBay and the 'copyright owner' keeps having it flagged down, saying I'm not allowed to resell it. It's driving me nuts. I feel like I got scammed.... . If it matters, this is regarding the book "Apartment House Riches" by Dave Lindahl. Hint... do not buy it if you plan on reselling it once you've read it..

My daughter is 7 and just entered the 2nd grade. She knows her alphabet and can write the alphabet. She often writes some letters backwards still, and her penmenship is really messy. At what point/age/grade should she be forming and writing neatly with less mistakes and messy in her writing?.

I open word but the options for letter and resume templates do not show up. How do I get them?

As for no proof, I assume your mail was still being delivered, your license still lists the apartment as your residence, etc. Not to mention, you paid May rent and probably June rent.. . Unless your old lease specifically states that there is no month to month lease upon expiration, by continuing to live there, you accept the terms of the original and are liable for the reletting fee (not to mention, ethically liable since you have not given your landlord time to relet the premises and they are losing money because of you).
