Start by looking at example cover letters online. Things you want to include in the cover letter are a.) what position you are applying for, b.) where you learned about the position, c.) why you chose to apply to their company, and d.) what skills you possess that would make you a good candidate. Contact information and sometimes what shifts you prefer go into a cover letter. You'd have to check the original job advertisement. You basically want to sell yourself. If you can find a career counselor or a job recruiting office, they may be able to help you write the letter. Plus, if you aren't hired for that position, or if you are hired and a better one comes along, they can keep an eye out for you.. . Sorry you had such a tough time. Google is your friend, but I did not find any in Excel. I made my own using the Open Office Excel clone, my son the graphic designer, could not believe I did it in Excel until I explained my reasons that I might want to extract fields from 'Excel' to use in a database.
