When I was in grade school before, we had this handwriting books wherein we will follow the patterns on how to write a certain letter. If I'm not mistaken, we had undertaken those lessons for a year or so. If you want to learn how to write in cursive fast, I suggest you practice more. Buy books wherein you will have a guide on how to write cursive properly. If you don't have that much cash, search the net for templates for letters, phrases, and sentences in cursives. Practice it everyday. Don't stress at the beginning if you don't achieve what you want, learning is a process. Good luck!
Unfortunately, name change records are permanent and will always be there. And even worse anytime that you apply for something like a job or passport they will ask if you have ever been known by any other name and you will have to state it. The most you can do is change it in court and get rid of that name as soon as possible. My mom's friend was sexually abused by her biological father when she was 12 and we convinced her to change her name. In this country people have rights and no one has to carry a name that brings back nasty memories or a name you simply don't like. By the way what happened to your biological father? Because your mom would have needed his consent to change your name in the first place. I also think you were old enough at the time to tell the judge that you didn't want to carry a new name. If you would have told that to the judge he would have ruled in your favor.
In reading old local newspapers here in Worcester County, Maryland, I think I have seen sermons by a Pastor Stockton, perhaps in the 1880s or 1870s. At the time of my reading, I made no notes, so I am only working from memory. I think he was known on the national level and that his sermons appeared in newspapers around the country. He could have been a well-known evangelist, I do not know. I have done some searching on the web, and I can come up with no Pastor Stockton.
