  • The firm consists of three partners in addition to four full time secretarial, paralegal and clerical assistants. We also use the services of several part time individuals with expertise in a variety of areas that we utilize depending on the specifics of the matter that comes into the firm. Our firm maintains a small firm environment in which we stress the importance of providing individualized service, and we accept and pursue vigorously both large and small cases. Our intention is to service our clients and to meet their needs in helping them reorient their lives after a traumatic incident by obtaining any and all compensation to which they are entitled.

All fees to the law offices of The Orlow Firm are strictly on a "contingent fee" basis. A contingent fee basis means that the attorneys are paid only at the time when, and if, they recover money damages for the client. A contingent fee thereby allows an injured person with little or no financial resources to obtain competent legal assistance. At the time recovery is obtained, the attorney's fee is a percentage of the award in the case. If there is no recovery, there is absolutely no legal fee.

Even before retaining either our firm, or any other firm that you may eventually choose, be certain that you do not speak with any insurance company representative that may contact you, and do not give any kind of statement in written form. It is of the utmost importance that you speak to an attorney before speaking to any such representative, since it is very possible that you might innocently jeopardize your case, or prejudice any future recourse, through an inadvertent or misdirected statement. We invite you to contact us for a free consultation. We will be happy to meet you either in our office or send a representative to you at your home, office or medical facility location.

I have a couple questions about free health care that you might think are dumb, but I just don't understand it. I'll be a senior in HS next year, and I just don't get this politics stuff. So please, no mean answers.. . 1.) Why is congress talking about free health care if the president is going to give it to us? Why do we need it twice? Don't they have better things to do than to do something that the president is going to do?. . 2.) If we don't have to pay for health care, how will the doctors get paid? I know if you take a car to a mechanic guy, you have to pay him for fixing your car (I'm lucky that my dad fixes my car when it breaks so I don't have to pay a mechanic guy?). Wouldn't a doctor want to be paid for fixing me if I'm broken?. . This is probably really simple answers to this, but I'm not the best at school. I know a lot of this my fault, but now that I'm in my last year of HS, I'm trying to figure this stuff out because I will need to know it later. I know I should have paid more attention in classes, but I never thought about it until now that I need to know this.. . Thank you for helping me understand this better! ?.

Can a parent who has Power of Attorney over her son prevent him from getting married?

It is my understanding that a document that is given to the buyer of goods and services and which document that stays in the exclusive. control and ownership of the buyer constitutes a legal receipt.. In the Philippines a store post the receipt must be 'presented'. to security. The word present always conveys a transfer of ownership. and therefore the policy of taking a receipt from a customer nullifies. the legal description of an official store (unsigned) receipt.. Does anyone know the precise definition of a receipt.. In courts other than the Philippines the owner of a receipt need only. to use a receipt in a court of law, but in the Philippines the store. seizes the receipt. Once a store has seized by policy the receipt it becomes an illegal document and any use of the ownership other than the buyer, should not be seen in a court of law as it is evidence obtained by illegal means. There are many web sites referring to a receipt but none that define official receipt. The printing of receipt. on a document do not necessarily qualify its control and ownership. as actually being a receipt once it has been produced or ownership. transferred back to the merchant. What is the definition by law in the Philippine's. As a buyer, it would seem that if universally the control and ownership of the printed receipt is violated then it is no longer. legal... . the.

Advance Directives. . What kind of medical care would you want if you were too ill or hurt to express your wishes? Advance directives are legal documents that allow you to convey your decisions about end-of-life care ahead of time. They provide a way for you to communicate your wishes to family, friends and health care professionals, and to avoid confusion later on.. . "A living will tells how you feel about care intended to sustain life. You can accept or refuse medical care. There are many issues to address, including. . * The use of dialysis and breathing machines. * If you want to be resuscitated if breathing or heartbeat stops. * Tube feeding. * Organ or tissue donation. . A durable power of attorney for health care is a document that names your health care proxy. Your proxy is someone you trust to make health decisions if you are unable to do so."

If you don't have enough grant aid to cover your charges, you can ask, but the answer may be a student loan. Don't want a student loan? Well, that may be too bad. Schools do not often meet 100% of need with grant funds, there are too many students with too much need to do that so self-help aid may be your only avenue here, or getting a job and saving up your pay.
