Final Paragraph: . Conclude your cover letter by thanking the employer for considering you for the position. Include information on how you will follow-up. State that you will do so and indicate when (one week's time is typical). You may want to reduce the time between sending out your resume and follow up if you fax or e-mail it.

What type of lawyer should I talk to about a trust fund that I have from my godfather left to me?

I received a letter in the mail stating I owed $901 from an old utility bill from 2004. I spoke with the collector and in a panic I agreed to make the payment within 30 days. Upon doing some research I found that theres really not much they can do.. Although I feel like a made a big mistake by agreeing to pay it.. I called them back and spoke to a manager stating that I wanted proof of the debt before I just went and paid $900 for something I wasn't completely sure about.. I did know that I owed some money from the old bill but I didnt remember it being that high. What should I do? I dont want them to 'renew' the debt and get reported for it just because I was in a panic and just agreed to pay it.. They said they would settle for $650 but if I dont have to pay them anything because its so old then I dont want to.. Ive never received prior letters in the mail and have never had this item show up on a credit report so I had no previous knowledge of this bill. What actions can they take if I dont pay since I agreed the first time to pay it - but I called back and said I wanted proof.. Can I still dispute the claim or is it too late since I already agreed?. Also I live in the State of New York if that helps.. . So a verbal agreement to pay over the phone isn't going to prevent me from being able to send a debt validation letter and an SOL letter? The agreement must be in writing? Thats what my main concern was.. . Anywhoo: thanks so much for your help. So basically I am still in the clear on this situation? I just have to send the letters and then I should be fine? Since it was only a verbal communication between us then Im still not obligated since its past the SOL? What if I dont send any letters to them? What actions could be taken? Im just not understanding what difference there is since its past the SOL anyway.. . timothy: thanks for your help too! This is my actual first time using this and Im really surprised at how fast and helpful this was.. thanks again! .

i live in San Diego California and i want know how to change my name and how long is gonna take and how much i have to pay for it PLEASE FULL INFORMATION.

So, a bit about me. I'm 19 and I have never been happy with my name. When I was about 12 - 13 I started using different names in common usage, and being of that age they changed often, but basically since then I have not used my real name outside of family gatherings or legal things.

The letter "x" can be used for a number of different sounds in Spanish. Sometimes it is used as a "sh" sound, sometimes as a "j" (as it's pronounced in Spanish" sound, sometimes as a "zh" sound, I believe. It might also be used as a "ks" sound, as it is in English. You just have to ask.. . The X is not used for arbitrary sounds. As I recall, it is used because the letter X was used to represent certain sounds from Indian languages when the conquistadores first came to the Americas. Although the pronunciation of these words was transformed into sounding more like Spanish, the letter still remains as a possible letter in Spanish.. . The classic example is Mexico, whose "x" is pronounced like "j" would be. But you will also see other words where the "x" is pronounced different ways. I believe the previous answerer who said that this is used in words that came from Nahuatl (an indigenous language of Mexico) is correct, although I have also seen this letter in names of people from other parts of the Americas.. . And, by the way, the sound that's often represented by the letter "h" in English is not the same sound that's often represented by the letter "j" in Spanish. The people who said that above just can't hear the difference.
