MODELING:. . If you are not skinny, forget it. If you are not at least 5'9'' forget it, not to be rude, but that's the business, you either got it or not. This process is different. Look for agencies in Chicago. You can do this by Googling: Modelling agencies in Chicago. Something important to remember is that if an agency asks for upfront money, walk away because they are a scam. And if they are a school and they start talking you into modelling classes, I suggest not paying for them. Most of the models that take those classes, usually don't end up signing with them in the end or getting modeling jobs. Besides, they are usually very expensive. You shouldn't have to pay a dime to get into modelling. Depending on the agency, there are some ways to sign with them, so they can get you modelling jobs. You can send in multiple pictures of yourself to the agency by email along with your information (height, weight, measurements etc.) and contact numbers. Be patient for a reply. If they like you, then they will contact you and invite you to their office where they will do more examining on you. At the end of the interview, they will either tell you that they will keep in touch or that they want to sign you, though this rarely happens, so I'm hoping that you've got a unique look. Or you can call them and set up an appointment to see an agent at the agency where they will examine you. If you're turned down, keep on trying other agencies. If this is happening TOO many times, maybe you don't have the potential to be a model. I recommend acting over modelling anyways. But good luck!
