Advance directives, Living wills, Power of Attorney for Health Care. All should be done by patients, discussed by family providers, but is not, until a sudden illness or injury puts a family in crisis.. Solving this issue would require that people take some personal responsibility, and that is in short supply in these times.

Things to change after marriage?

Yes it's legal ... provided you pay the going postage rate and don't use subversive means to collect the addresses ... you could mail something to everyone in the phone book if you pleased. HOWEVER, that would not be the most economical way to reach a broad audience. You'd be better off spending your money on targeted advertising. If you're a seamstress, ask to leave business cards or ads at the dry cleaner or a clothing store, etc. It's about trying to get knowledge of your business into the hands of people that want the information ..... sending out hundreds or thousands of letters to completely random strangers may get you some business ... but will probably cost more than it's worth.

Edited to add: Double taxing and burdening someone who has not had a contractual agreement with either the government OR the bequest-or is UNFAIR Taxing. Look up Taxation without representation, perhaps you will understand that those who are inheriting are actually an injured party.. It is not the same as unearned income or earned income. Totally different.. I know there are cases being tried over these NEW Tax laws. But I find them to be Unconstitutional. . There are ways around it as well, I know the law.. . Best,. Makkie
