You dont need to write a letter for working at kmart. Just tell your manager when your last day will be and then remind them like two or three days before. You dont have to give any reasons since you are an "at will" employee. Which means they can fire you for almost any reason, or you can quit for any reason. So if you dont want to give a reason and they badger you about it, then just quit earlier than you said. The two weeks is only given as a courtesy, so they can find someone new. If they dont return the courtesy (of privacy), then why give it?

Most cinemas do not have their own house ads, meaning the ads advertising their venue. They are more movie-related. That means they have new movies after 2 weeks or so. That means for your idea, it means changing the posters every 2 weeks. Secondly, they are not allowed to promote it outside the premises. So I don't think you will get any interest or response.. .
